Being a FACDL-Miami Member

Founded in 1963, the Miami Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL) is now one of the largest and most successful bar associations in Miami-Dade County. Our membership is vast and varied, from distinguished and established practitioners to young attorneys and public defenders at the dawn of their legal careers. Our current and former membership rosters are a who’s-who of South Florida’s criminal defense elite: from attorneys who have argued before the United States Supreme Court, to federal and state judges, to Assistant Public Defenders who fight for defendants’ rights on the front lines, day in day out.
